These two weeks, We fosued on "las partes del cuerpo" The students enjoyed singing "Yo tengo comezón". They also made a robot.

The Three Kings Celebration
The students in this class had a great time celebrating The Three Kings Day.
Every one in the class enjoyed being Rey or Reyna for two days. We made coronas (crowns). Thank to your donations, we were able to enjoy Rosca de Reyes in this class.

La Casa/ The house
We focused on the house and learn the names of different rooms in the house.
¿Qué es esto? The students practiced school items and learned how tho Ask What is this? in Spanish.
Listen
The students learned greetings in Spanish. This is how we greet others in Spanish.
Continuing Spanish I (6th period)
This course will continue to focus on oral language skills and students will learn to communicate in Spanish on topics at levels appropriate to their age and interest. An oral/visual approach and Total Physical Response (TPR) will be used in the course through a variety of activities. Reading and writing in Spanish will be introduced and students will participate at a level for their age. Students will be able to construct sentences, dialogues, and short passages in Spanish. Cultural exposure will enhance the students’ knowledge and appreciation of the Spanish culture.
Students erolled in this elective also participate in small play and presentations throughout the year.
Length of the elective: This elective is offered through the entire year.

Continuing I class we will be learning about different countries in Latin-America. With this project, we will need a few things.
Students will learn about countries, flags and the capital and more.
Items needed:
Cooking salt
Side walk chalk (different colors)
